THINK IT Services Blog
Greetings!
JKaplan Photo
Welcome to the June 2008 THINKstrategies Update.

New England is celebrating another Celtics basketball championship and settling into another Red Sox summer baseball season.

The on-demand services market is also celebrating growing success as companies of all sizes are leveraging Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and managed services to respond to unprecedented business challenges.

Escalating competitive pressures, changing workplace dynamics and rising concerns about the economy and ecology are driving the growth of the on-demand services market.

As a result, small and mid-size businesses (SMBs), as well as large-scale enterprises, are increasingly adopting SaaS solutions and managed services to address specific business and IT management requirements.

Rising demand is creating a 'gold-rush' affect as a steady stream of new and old players attempt to win a share of the on-demand services market.

THINKstrategies is also expanding its portfolio of services and industry activities to encourage the growth of the on-demand services market.

In May we launched a new webcast series to examine SaaS and managed service best practices.

This month we've teamed with NetworkWorld, Software Magazine, SIIA and Techweb to add SaaS tracks to their respective industry events over the next six months. This is in addition to existing relationships with Light Reading, SaaScon and SoftLetter.

We are also pleased to welcome another 200 new suscribers to our rapidly growing newsletter distribution list, bringing our total to over 9100 IT and business decision-makers, IT solution providers, investors and press.

This newsletter will tell you more about our latest commentaries, events, Showplace additions and other activities regarding the on-demand services market.

I hope you find this newsletter valuable.
Contact me if you'd like to learn more about THINKstrategies' services.

Also, please read about my upcoming Pan Mass Challenge bike ride to fight cancer below. I hope you can support this terrific cause.

THINKstrategies Launches Market Leaders Webcast Series

THINKstrategies Logo Image

THINKstrategies has launched a new "Market Leaders" webcast series which showcases companies who are delivering innovative, on-demand solutions to meet the rapidly changing needs of large-scale enterprises, as well as small- and mid-size businesses (SMBs).

Our webcasts differ from traditional, structured webinars by combining the candid, unscripted, conversational qualities of podcasts with the visual benefits of online presentations.

As the producer and host of the Market Leaders webcast series, my goal is to provide a more interesting and engaging discussion with senior executives of companies who are in the forefront of the on-demand market. The webcasts will be pre-recorded, archived and 20-30 minutes in length so you can view them whenever fits your busy schedule.

In our first webcast, I talk with Steve Booth, VP of Business Development at Aria Systems, about unique transaction management challenges and opportunities in the on-demand services market. Steve talks about the Monetization Maturity Model which Aria has developed to respond to this important issue. Click here to view this webcast.

You can also click here to read THINKstrategies' whitepaper about the transaction management challenges and opportunities in the on-demand services market.

I hope you like our new webcast series, and welcome your feedback and suggestions.
