The CCBV Awards program was announced in January 2010 to recognize Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) providers delivering tangible business benefits to specific user organizations. The American Management Association (AMA) has used Caspio’s PaaS solution to automate its lead management processes, including capturing and qualifying its leads. As a result of adopting Caspio’s PaaS solution, AMA has doubled its qualified leads and cut its processing time by nearly to 75%, while reducing workload on IT.
Whirlpool Corporation has adopted Caspio’s PaaS solution to convert a mainframe-based application that displayed product and part information on a line-by-line basis to a web-enabled portal. Using Caspio’s PaaS solution shortened Whirlpool’s development backlog from six months to two days.
It is for these reasons that Caspio has been named THINKstrategies’ first Cloud Computing Business Value Award winner.
